Common Questions about NPC
How can I learn more about Naperville Presbyterian Church (NPC)?
The best way to learn more about our community is to experience it! Join us for Sunday morning worship. Our address is 943 Sanctuary Lane Naperville, Illinois, and we have provided a map and directions to help you find us. You'll meet friendly men and women who can answer questions and provide information about opportunities for adults, youth and children.
What is NPC's style of worship?
In our worship together we remember and celebrate the gospel of Jesus Christ, what He has done for us and continues to do through us. We participate together through a passionate mix of expressions of worship including: corporate singing, prayer, liturgy, confession, preaching from the Bible, and the sacraments of baptism and the Lord’s Supper. Our style is primarily contemporary, yet maintains an appreciation for our heritage and for the ancient roots of our faith.
What kind of people are attracted to NPC?
We find that the people who join us each week are eager for a faith that contains real answers for life’s difficult problems. They are looking to make new and lasting friendships. We meet people who want to see their children learning the truths of the Bible in an atmosphere of joy, creativity and care. We find these people want to be a part of a movement much greater than themselves.
What kind of church is NPC?
Naperville Presbyterian Church is a congregation of the Presbyterian Church in America, (PCA), one of the fastest growing Christian churches in the United States for the last few years. The PCA is a denomination that is both conservative and progressive, meaning: in theology it is conservative, being committed to the full authority of the Bible, believing in the historic doctrines of the Christian faith, and affirming that salvation is offered to all people by grace through faith in Christ. At the same time, it is a progressive church, eager to present people with the good news of life with God in Christ, to make disciples, and to apply the truths of the Bible to both personal and social problems in creative ways.
How many people are currently members of NPC?
