Prayer Ministry at NPC
We pray at NPC because we have witnessed God’s awesome answers to prayer in the past and trust Him to continue His redemptive work in us individually and corporately.
Join us in these ways:
- Pray with an elder or Stephen minister: Elders and Stephen Ministers are present up front after each worship service. They would love to pray with you and for you about any concern or circumstance.
- Sunday am Prayer Team: Join our weekly Kingdom Building Prayer Group anytime. We pray for NPC, its people, its ministries, and its outreach work throughout the world. Come downstairs to Room 046 at 8:00 am any Sunday morning. We conclude at 8:15 am.
- Women’s Prayer Team: Join our monthly Women Praying for Women Group anytime. We pray for every woman in the church. We meet the first Wednesday of every month at NPC from 7-8 p.m.

PrayerLife Seminar
In the next two weeks, we are hosting Bob Allums of PrayerLife (associated with SeeJesus.net) to bring the PrayerLife Seminar here to NPC. In light of the focus on spiritual practices this Lenten season, you are invited to attend the three meetings over two weeks:
- Tuesday, March 9, 6:30-9:30 pm
- Tuesday, March 16, 6:30-9:30 pm
- Wednesday, March 17, 6:30-9:30 pm

Let's face it, prayer is hard. Our failed attempts to have a rich prayer life often end in quiet desperation. Hope dies, cynicism taunts: "Is God in control? Does he even care?" Feeling defeated and robbed of joy, we settle for less. We expect less.
But we don't have to? In an eleven week study, PrayerLife inspires people to pray in vibrant connection with God. Participants learn to pray the way Jesus did: like a child, coming as we are, asking anything, with eyes to see the Father's story unfolding in us
