Relationships
Relationships can be difficult but they are the heart of who we are as Christians. Christ died and rose again to restore relationships. Right relationships:
- glorify God;
- provide our greatest joy;
- require cultivation;
- may need healing;
- may need help.
God has provided help for us in our relationships:
- the power of His Spirit;
- the example of His Son;
- the wisdom of His word.
He has also provided counsel, direction, encouragement, example, guidance and support through:
- pastors, elders, deacons and staff;
- small groups and ministries and their leaders;
- other mature believers;
- adult Sunday school, books, audio and video classes.
- Shepherding and Reconciliation Committee
If you need help in a relationship, please ask.
For example, the Shepherding and Reconciliation Committee is a team appointed by the Elders of Naperville Presbyterian Church (NPC) for this very purpose, to help people have the kind of relationships that they desire and God desires for them. The Shepherding and Reconciliation Committee would love to act as a facilitator to help you find and utilize all the resources you need, both inside and outside of NPC, to help you in your healing and growth during difficult relational times.
Please contact *Email: JackKelly, Director of Care and Counseling, or call Jack at the church at 630-961-0579, ext. 255, for additional information about all these resources.
