Women Care
As we are in relationship with one another, we become aware of each other’s needs. Our eagerness to encourage and help demands a certain degree of organization. While the committees/opportunities described here (and listed above)help us both in giving and receiving help, both the one looking to be a caregiver and the one seeking care should be assured that there is no such thing as calling the wrong person. There’s overlap in NPC ministries – and anyone you contact will be delighted to either address your needs herself – or introduce you to someone who can.
In a church as large as NPC, there is the risk of feeling alone in the crowd. CareLink is a new tool we have to help us to be united in prayer as well as actively caring for each other
If you have short term practical needs – child care, organizing, doctor visits, laundry, etc., or if you think this is an area you would like to help with, check out WOW.
Our New Baby Ministry exists to offer prayerful support for those expecting a child by birth or adoption. These caregivers will come along side to listen, to encourage, and to pray, and if practical needs arise, they will be able to point you to those who can help.
For those considering an abortion, or who have had an abortion, please don’t presume you must be alone in the journey. There are loving and concerned people here at NPC who would like to help you.
