Children's Ministries at NPC

Our mission in Children’s Ministries is to partner with parents to disciple children to know, love and serve God.

We believe that God has given parents the primary responsibility to nurture their children in the Christian faith. This is both a wonderful opportunity and important responsibility. Our desire it to come alongside them to support and equip them in laying a firm foundation of faith in Jesus Christ. To that end, Children’s Ministries provides various opportunities to help children grow in their knowledge, love and service to God:

• worship experiences,
• Sunday morning classes,
• loving childcare,
• mid-week opportunities,
• and special events for families and specific age groups.

We believe that children are a vital part of God’s covenant community here at NPC. We invite and encourage them to attend worship with their families and serve in age appropriate ways.

We believe that children learn best about the Lord and His love for them in relationship. That’s why we strive to provide small group opportunities to build relationships with other children and adults. Parents are encouraged to participate periodically in their children’s classes and other activities.

We believe that children will grow in their faith as they grow developmentally, and that this growth begins at birth. In fact, many children make a commitment to follow Christ at a young age. We choose curriculum and activities that are appropriate for each age group.
