Birth thru PreK

Early Childhood is a precious time in life and we believe strongly that children can be encouraged and nurtured in their faith even from the earliest of years. 

Nursery Care

We are committed for providing capable, loving care for the youngest among us. We believe that because God loves even the littlest ones His Spirit is at work in them as we show them the love of Jesus in caring for their basic needs in a safe and secure environment. 

The following nurseries which are available for your babies and toddlers are outlined below. Please note that, where nurseries are concerned, children move form one room to another based on developmental factors as well as age. We encourage you to discuss with the nursery workers when your child might be ready to move to the next nursery. 

Infants (Birth – 12 months)

There is a “Crawler” room for babies who are awake and active. This room also has swings, baby seats, rocking chairs, activity saucers and age appropriate toys. There is a quiet sleeping room for those babies needing naps. A private area for nursing mothers is also available.  

Walkers (12+ months)

A child moves into the Walkers room when they are at least 12 months old and walking steadily. Age appropriate toys and play equipment are available.  When a child turns two, they remain in Walkers and wait to move to the two’s class until the following September.

Your First Visit

Please see that your child's diaper bag, bottle, pacifiers, and other personal belongings are labeled. (NPC diaper bag tags are available.) Our rooms are supplied with diapers and baby wipes, but we ask that you please include these items in the bag you bring for your child as well. When you pack your diaper bag, we suggest you include:

• Two or three disposable diapers
• Pacifier
• Bottle of milk, juice, formula or water
• Any other special toy, blanket, etc. that your child may need for security
• Change of clothes in case your child needs changing

Early Childhood Classes

In order to better meet the needs of our children, we have structured our classrooms by age and classes are assigned by birthday. Each class will remain together for the entire school year. This allows us the opportunity to build relationships and maintain continuity. Thank you for your help in this area.

Romper's Class

The Romper's class is for children who are two years old by September 1. This class has a more in significant play time as well as a Bible story, craft and snack. All activities are designed to reinforce the theme of the Bible story for that day. 

Three’s Class

The Three’s class is for children who are three years old by September 1. This class has a more in-depth Bible story, craft and snack. All activities are designed to reinforce the theme of the Bible story for that day.

PreKindergarten

The Four's and Five's class is for children who are age four by September 1, or five but not yet in Kindergarten. This class has a more in depth Bible story, a more challenging craft and snack.

Kid's Club

Kid's Club is a unique ministry for children two to five years old whose mothers attend Women’s Bible Study on Thursday mornings. The children are taught by godly, committed, loving teachers who strive to teach truth throughout every minute of the morning. Children participate in Bible stories, worship, crafts and games while their mothers attend their Bible study.

Dance Ministry

Dance at NPC is designed to bring glory to God throught the art of dance, encourage the spiritual and physical growth of the dancers and provide an environment that will bring dancers closer to Christ.
