Worship
At Naperville Presbyterian Church, children of any age are welcomed to join us in our morning worship services. We recommend children attend worship with their parents
during one service, and attend Sunday School during the other service time. While they may not understand everything that goes on during the
worship service, it is important for them to begin to feel a part of the worshipping community. Parents play an important and integral role in modeling participative worship and helping children engage in it.
JAM - Christian Education
JAM (Jesus and Me) is NPC's Sunday morning ministry for children
birth through 5th grade. Our hope and prayer is that through
relationships, Bible teaching, music, prayer, games, crafts and more,
our adult leaders can come alongside the children, building
relationships and encouraging children in their relationship with Jesus.
Sunday mornings are not boring and we aim to offer our kids something
that is both real and relevant. Our lessons are Biblical and
Reformed as well as kid-friendly. Our goal is to challenge kids to
respond with their hearts and lives, to live their faith, and to make a
personal commitment to Christ.
Every week, kids will gather together for JAM Time! In this
large group assembly time, we encourage kids (kindergarten through 5th
grade) to engage in community, worship, stewardship and
outreach.
Children must be the appropriate age or in the appropriate class by September 1st to attend that class. For example, children must be two
years old by September 1st, to attend the Two's Sunday School class for this year. A child must be in 3rd grade by September 1st in order to attend the 3rd grade Sunday School class. If you have questions, please contact the
Children's Ministries office.
