High School Announcements
Parent involvement in their child's church life is a benefit to the
entire family. As you walk along side your child providing guidance,
encouragement and service, you will draw nearer to God and your
relationship with the Lord will continue to grow each step of the
way. Please consider getting involved in Student Ministries at
Naperville Presbyterian Church.
- For all the listed possibilities below, please email
Don
Parrish, Director of Student Ministries.
- Several students throughout the year need scholarship monies
to help make the costs of events do-able. We have money
in the budget to offset some of the costs, but several people
in the church offer their finances as scholarships to
defray costs for students who would not attend events
otherwise, like summer trips, retreat, etc. Contact the
SM office for details.
- Parent Booster
Teams needed. If you can offer some of your time and
expertise to volunteer for providing rides, attending
events, providing behind the scenes help, and more, we'd
love to hear from you. We encourage parents to be involved
with their students here in HSM ministries.
- Consider taking some time to write a thank you note to your
son's or daughter's small group leader. Thank the
volunteer staff members for giving their time.
Volunteer members write lessons, pray, and develop relationships
with the students in their groups.
- Would you like to help the students at NPC in an indirect
manner by donating/lending your gear? The Student Ministries Department plans many activities
throughout the year which requires equipment and resources that
are impractical for us to purchase, i.e., a boat, trailer, van,
tents, grills, etc. Lending your resources saves NPC money by
not having to rent or buy the materials ourselves. If you would
like to lend equipment to the Student Ministries Department,
please fill out the
Resource
Inventory Sheet and return it to the NPC office or to Tracey
Bouton's mailbox at church. Thank you!
