Janie Maxwell, Director of Women's Ministries

Janie MaxwellJanie Maxwell works as our Director of Women's Ministries. Janie began coordinating Women's Ministries 15 years ago as a volunteer, and in 1997 was asked to join Naperville Presbyterian Church as the Women's Ministries Director. She has served in a variety of Adult Ministry staff positions over the years and enjoys building teams and creating new ministries.  She has a passion to see people connect with each other and with God. She graduated from Penn State, holds a Master's Degree in Nutrition, and is a Registered Dietitian. Janie and her family have been a part of Naperville Presbyterian Church since 1985.


 

 

 

 

 

Jess Romer, Women's Ministries Assistant

Jess Romer has been a member of NPC for 10 years and joined Women's Ministries as Assistant in 2007.  She enjoys working with the women of NPC and seeing the women in community as they grow spiritually. Jess and Keith, her husband, are parents to 3 wonderful children.  Jess loves to travel and spend time with family and friends.  She also enjoys a good book occasionally.







 
 
 

Peter Oxner, Men's Ministries Coordinator

Peter Oxner is the volunteer coordinator for Men's Ministry at Naperville Presbyterian Church. His efforts in the community of men within our congregation reflect the mission of NPC: "to infect all people with a joy in God's glory and passion to become like Him". By investing in lay leadership, Peter coordinates what is already happening in the church. He desires to help connect men to gospel-centered ministry opportunities and life-giving relationships.

Peter is the Midwest Sales Director for the Financial Times and works in Chicago.  A graduate of San Jose State University and an alumnus of Northwestern University and Moody Bible Institute, Peter enjoys all outdoor family activities, sports (especially soccer) and is a history buff. Peter joined NPC in 1997 with his wife Erin after moving to Naperville in 1995. Peter & Erin have 4 children - Gabriel (10), Grace (8), Harrison (6) and Shea (3).

 

Suzanne Riddle, Director of Community Life

Suzanne has worked in the church office for over 10 years and has served in several capacities, from office manager to senior pastor assistant to general ministry support. She has a background in computers and finance, including an MBA from Indiana. In the summer, you’ll find her family out skiing early in the morning to catch the calm waters. She became a believer while at Naperville Presbyterian Church, and serves out of thankfulness for what God has done in her life.

Frank Abt, InternAfter coming to know Christ as his Lord at Naperville Presbyterian Church, Frank has been a member for 14 years and has served in many different lay leader capacities in that time.  Five years ago Frank heard God’s call to go into vocational ministry and in his late twenties went back to school to earn his bachelors degrees in Psychology and Religious Studies from North Central College in Naperville.  Frank is currently pursuing his Masters of Divinity from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School.  While doing so he is serving N.P.C. as an intern, enjoying all the opportunities that the position offers.  Frank spends what little free time he has with his wife Sonya and their son Gideon, and their friends and family.
