| In a world where people feel so isolated and disconnected, we believe
that local church membership offers a deep sense of belonging and
accountability. Our Membership Class studies the theological truths of
what we believe and what it means to be a part of the community at
Naperville Presbyterian Church. Why is membership important to us? By
becoming a member, a person is first and foremost acknowledging his or
her sinfulness before a holy God and trusting Jesus Christ for eternal
salvation, and that's the basics right there! Members also make a
commitment to the local church, both to serve in ministry and to be
ministered to by the pastors,
elders and other caring servants
within the community. We encourage our members and friends to join a
small group community and become
personally involved in ministry to strengthen their relationship with
Jesus Christ.
Membership class at Naperville Presbyterian Church (NPC) is a
two-part
course for those who have taken the Discovery class and are
considering a commitment to NPC membership. The
Membership class is offered two or three times a year, and is taught by
Chris Hodge.
