Pick a Date, Pick a Place
There are a few hosts in our NPC community who would love to meet people and hang out together over a dinner, dessert, or BBQ sometime this summer. You'll have the opportunity to sign up and be a guest at one of these host homes. Visit the lobby table to sign up or contact Suzanne Riddle.
Baptism Service for Covenant Child
During the first service, May 26.

Welcome Emily Hyland
Emily will join our NPC staff as the Director of Operations effective June 1. Faith Risany will continue as Director of Finance.
Ballet Recital
June 9. Come watch the children of NPC perform in their 2nd Dance Recital.
Mathis Music Camp
June 10-15, 8:30-11:30. Middle School and High School students learn to use their talents in voice, instruments and drama to lead worship.
Vacation Bible School
June 17-20, 9-11:30 am, for ages 3-5 grade. Forms are online. Registration deadline is June 3. However, t-shirt orders need to be placed by tomorrow, May 27. If you sign up after tomorrow we will have a shirt for your child, but cannot guarantee the size you request.
Sky High Trampoline Jump Night
July 15, 6-8 pm at Sky High Sports in Naperville (2244 Corporate Lane, Naperville, 60563). All ages welcome. Cost: $10 each. Signups begin June 23. There will be a specially designated 6 and under court. All jumpers under 18 years of age will need to have a signed waiver from their parents.

Allergies
please remember that due to many allergies, we are a nut-free facility. If you are bringing food into the building, please do not bring any nut products as it could be dangerous to others in our community.
Parking Lot Islands
NPC has many lovely "garden islands" in the parking lot. Would you like to adopt one for the year, care for it and make it grow? Contact the office to adopt an island.
Extra Hands as Nursery Greeters
Greeters receive children in infants and walkers before the 10:15 am service on Sunday mornings. Contact Tracey Bouton if you would like to serve.

Building
During the summer months the building will close at 5 pm on nights when there are no scheduled activities. Please schedule building use at least one week in advance to facilitate keeping the building open and staffed.
Stephen Ministry
Stephen Ministry is a program of our congregation that equips lay
persons to provide distinctively Christian one-to-one care for those who
are experiencing any kind of life need and circumstances.
Training classes for new Stephen Ministers are being offered at two
local churches:
- Crossroads Community Church: the classes are every Saturday in October.
- Grace Pointe Church: the classes start Thursday, September 12 and run through April 2014.
If you are a member of NPC and interested in becoming a Stephen Minister, please complete an application and submit to Jack Kelly or Cindy Hennessy at NPC. If you have any questions please contact Cindy Hennessy or Jack Kelly.
Women
New Bible Study begins Tuesday, June 4 from 9:30-11:00 am. Join us for Grace: More Than We Deserve, Greater Than We Imagine by Max Lucado. Come join us as we explore the meaning of God's grace in our lives this summer. Full description here.
CareNet Walk: Saturday, June 15, 9 am. A group of NPC women will walk (run) a 3 mile course together to benefit CareNet. Meet at Grace for Life Bible Church (7 S 202 S. River Road). All ages are welcome. Contact: Robin Kot. Full details here.

High School (HSM)
Incoming Freshman Retreat: June 5-6 in Michigan. Leave from Don's after Bible Study on Wednesday Night, May 8.
Graduating Senior Retreat: June 9-11.
HSM Kentucky Mission Trip: June 23-28.
Middle School (MSM)
8th Grade Students: will more up to HSM on June 2.
Summer Herd: our first summer Herd begins Sunday, June 2. We are excited to welcome the new 6th grade class. We'll meet here at NPC from 5:30-7:30 pm for a fun night to get to know all our new students! Don't miss it!.
Feed My Starving Children: June 12, 6-7:30 pm. Sign up at FMSC (code: 348223).
Final Call for the Mission Trip, Shake up Kalamazoo: June 16-21. Forms are at the Welcome Center.
Children (CM)

May 26 there will be no BLAST! Early childhood classes will meet during both services.
Move Up Sunday, June 2: all current PreK-4th graders will move up for the summer. These incoming K-3rd graders will go to BLAST! for the entire summer. All incoming 4th/5th graders will attend worship with their families.
Early childhood classes (current babies-3 years old) will NOT move up until September—they will remain in their current classes for the summer.
All incoming 6th graders will join Middle School Ministries for the summer, beginning in June.
