  • Worshipping our God is the most important thing we do and we are excited to have all our children worshipping with us on Sunday mornings.  Being part of the family means that we come together, hear God's word, sing, pray together, laugh and share concerns.  Children are part of our Covenant Community and we encourage parents to prepare their children to be an active part of our community by worshipping with us.
    ◦  Nurseries through Pre K children will meet in their regular rooms.
    ◦  K through 3rd Grade will attend worship with their families and will have the option of joining us in the Multipurpose Room (MPR) for BLAST! during the sermon time.  Those children that leave the service will dismiss from the MPR except on Communion Sundays (when they will rejoin their families after the sermon).
    ◦  4th, and 5th Graders will attend the entire service with their families.  Children's sermon inserts are available in the Weekly each week.
  • On Communion Sundays we offer gluten free bread for those who have allergies.  Visit the station by the piano and ask for it.  Contact Chris McChristian with any questions.
  • Food Bank: Our next workday will be Saturday, October 4. The Deacons of Naperville Presbyterian Church are looking for thirty or so individuals to join us at the Northern Illinois Food Bank (NIFB) Saturday, from 8:45 am until 12:00 noon to help in the fight against hunger. Activities include food sorting, labeling and packaging. You must be 14 or older. Bring your smile and a willing attitude to help those less fortunate. NIFB is located at 600 Industrial Drive in St. Charles, only about 30 minutes from NPC. You may sign up at the table outside the Worship Center or online. It would be most helpful if you would sign up online no later than 6 calendar days prior to the Saturday outing.  For on-line sign up after that time, please contact Jan Lutkevich.  Please contact Jan Lutkevich or Nancy Weatherup with any questions you may have.
  • The Sonshine Team is a group of volunteers at Naperville Presbyterian Church who are happy to lend a helping hand by providing meals for families following the joy of childbirth or the difficulty of illness or injury.  Contact Jackie Kenney or the church office to let us know of your desire to help with this ministry by preparing meals.
  • If you are interested in becoming a Stephen Minister, a training class will be offered January through May of 2009.  The class is 50 hours of training that meets once a week for 2 hours.  Please contact Georgia Kuehne if interested.
  • Loaves & Fishes: The Deacons of Naperville Presbyterian Church are grateful for the donations given to the local food bank and food pantries serving Naperville and surrounding communities. Gifts of non-perishable food are appreciated. Baby formula and disposable diapers are always in short supply, as well as personal toiletry items such as soap and shampoo (no mouthwash). All items should be unopened and new. NO glass items please. Baby food, soups, etc. are accepted. Gifts can be brought to the church and deposited in the food cart located in the main lobby by the Information Table.
