The Lord led us to begin planting
Saljang Presbyterian Church in Saljang Village in June 2009. God
has blessed this church so much that within one and a half year
of hard work and much prayers the Lord brought together 25
believing families to form a Church. They are currently
worshiping in two house churches. They are urgently in
need of a decent worship facility which can seat at least 300
worshippers at one time. Saljang area is inhabited by about 200
households and there is a great opportunity for many households
to become Christian soon. A bird’s eye view of Saljang Village:
only one-fifth of the village can be seen
Break down of how the money will be
used: $8200 - for purchasing and
transporting building materials (sand, stone chips, iron bars,
cement, bricks, paints, etc.) $1800 - one year (first year)
pastor’s salary. From the second year the Congregation will meet all their
needs. $10000 is our total request to plant
Saljang Presbyterian Church. We will begin the work as soon as
our request is accorded. Picture 2: Saljang Presbyterian

prayerfully consider a very important project for the spread of
the gospel and for the building of God’s Kingdom. Your fellow laborer in his vineyard, (Checks may be issued to PMI,

MTW (Cartee & Coleen) |
Presbyterian Church of Bangladesh
since 2003 in church planting in the Eastern Hill Tracts, along
the Myanmar/India border. Today, only one is still listed as
"Unreached" by Joshua Project (www.joshuaproject.org).
Unreached, there is still that one-more tribe. Also, the church
is very young, and still being strengthened as it grows. It
would be difficult to un-partner at this critical time. Of our
$4,500 per month need for financial support, we receive about
$1,200 in support commitments. If you can make a monthly
commitment to this work, or provide a year-end gift, your
partnership would be a huge help to keeping this work afloat. |

In Nepal, where the church has
explode in growth (from maybe 3,000 believers in the '70s, to
over 1 million today). The need for training and discipleship is
great. One of these groups is an association of about 70
independent pastors who have been introduced to a deeper
understanding of theology, and have welcomed us to partner with
them in training their pastors twice each year, leading them
through a curriculum that has already borne much fruit in
pastoral training in India. We currently have a "matching fund"
of $13,675 which is currently unmatched! Each dollar of any gift
you could make will be matched dollar for dollar, up to the
$13,675, for a total of $27,350. Gifts have to be contributed by
April 30, 2012 -- but we need the funds soon for a training that
is scheduled in the first week of January. Your donation here
would greatly help strengthen these pastors as they labor in
remote places. Please see the contribution information below, if
you can help with this need. |
