Naperville Presbyterian Church supports the
Northern Illinois
Food Bank (NIFB) fight against hunger by providing work crews one
Saturday every other month. Activities include sorting, labeling, and packaging
food at the
St. Charles, Illinois location. We also have an on-going
collection of items.
Loaves & Fishes: The Deacons of NPC are grateful for the
donations given to the local food bank and food pantries serving
Naperville and surrounding communities. Gifts of non-perishable food are
appreciated. Baby formula and disposable diapers are always in short
supply, as well as personal toiletry items such as soap and shampoo (no
mouthwash). All items should be unopened and new (check expiration
dates). NO glass items: baby
food, soups, etc. are accepted. Gifts can be brought to the church and
deposited in the “basket" in the main lobby by the Information
Table.
Our next workday will be Saturday, December 6. The Deacons of
Naperville Presbyterian Church are looking for thirty or so individuals to join us at the Northern
Illinois Food Bank (NIFB) from 8:45 am until
12:00 noon
to help in the fight against hunger. Activities include food sorting,
labeling and packaging. You must be 14 or older. Bring your smile and
a willing attitude to help those less fortunate. NIFB is located at 600
Industrial Drive in St. Charles, only about 30 minutes from NPC. You may
sign up at the table outside the Worship Center or
