Women's CareLink

We are excited to roll out a new monthly NPC communication just for
women--Women's CareLink.
So what is it and why are we doing this?
One of our strong desires as a ministry is that women here will be wrapped into a caring community, no matter where they interact with NPC. As a fairly large church it is difficult to avoid “pockets” of relationships that become isolated from each other. Connection becomes especially important as real care needs arise in our lives. Our heart as a covenant community is to fight the tendency toward isolation with everything we've got! We want to be united in prayer for one another, and then actively caring for each other in love. CareLink is a monthly email publication that will be a tool to help this happen.
The Women's CareLink objective is:
To encourage and equip women to love each other
well in community through prayer,
and then as God leads, in practical care.
We hope to accomplish this by: Scriptural and anecdotal inspiration, communication of current needs, and practical suggestions for how we can support each other. One helpful function will be to provide the links to internet Care Sites and blogs for those in our community who have them and want to make them available. Another benefit of the CareLink email list will be to have a way to contact everyone if a particular, more urgent need for help or resources arises. We can pass the word efficiently!
Who is this for?
We intend that every woman who is a friend or member of NPC will receive this publication. Every woman in our community also may contact us for help facilitating care for them. There are women waiting to serve you.
How would it work?
Women sign up to receive CareLink here. Every month CareLink will be sent to your email inbox. If you do not have email, extra copies will be available. Infrequently, subscribers may also receive a CareLink “alert” if an immediate need for help is known--there is no obligation involved; through a wide network we're hoping that we can help match a resource (ride, help, call/visit) to a need.
We think you will look forward to receiving this friendly, attractive, concise update that will hopefully both inspire and inform. Our motto is “pray well. care well.” This sums up how we would like to be--women who are faithful in prayer for those around us, and then led caringly into the lives of others--for God's glory!
By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another." John 13:35
