Praying Life: Connecting with God in a Distracting World by Paul Miller
This is more than a book about prayer, it is the story of our struggle to actually live like we believe that our heavenly Father really does love us. If we did, nothing could keep us from being committed to the day-by-day hard work of prayer.
Paul Miller interprets our struggle in a way that is convicting, insight giving, and encouraging. This is a book on prayer that actually makes you want to pray!
This class is led by a team of teachers and will be hands on and discussion based and will involve outside reading and hopefully lots of prayer time.

The Promised One: Seeing Jesus in Genesis by Nancy Guthrie
Join Nancy on a journey through the Old Testament as we seek to see Jesus in its shadows, symbols, people and patterns. We'll grow together in our understanding of the big picture story of the bible, which is all about God's grace revealed in us in Jesus Christ. The Promised One will help you:
- make new discoveries of Jesus as seen in the shadows of the Old Testament;
- apply the gospel found in Genesis to issues such as shame, fear, and the desire for security and significance;
- develop your longing for what is ahead when the world is once again made new
Gain a fresh perspective on the book of Genesis, a broader understanding of Jesus as the fulfillment of Scripture, and much more, when you join with Nancy on this incredible journey to see Jesus in the Old Testament!
Nancy Guthrie will lead the class in a video
series, and there will be large and small group discussion. This class
has outside reading and homework
Kid's Club and Nursery Care is provided for the children of women in the Thursday morning sessions (children from birth through kindergarten). Cost is $10 per family for the September-November term.

The Fabric Arts Bunch former Quilt Group
We meet on the first Wednesday of each month from 7-9 pm, in various members homes. We are a group of women who love to learn and create things, from quilt making, wool felting, sewing for the home, jewelry,, knitting, hand embroidery and anything else that comes along. We have a devotion, dessert and fellowship as well.
