Director of High School Ministry & Media
Since first becoming a Christian in high school, José Rivera has had a heart for sharing the gospel of grace with high school students. He served for over 10 years as a Young Life leader in the Naperville/Aurora area, while also working full time in TV/media production. As the director of high school ministry here at Naperville Presbyterian Church, he hopes to show students the beauty of the real and irresistible Jesus.
While looking to use all of his gifts to the glory of God, José also serves on staff as the director of media, where he creates and edits digital content for NPC in hopes to, creatively and visually, point others to Christ.
José has been happy to make his home in this community with his wife Stacy and their two young boys, Caden and John. When not at church or around town (usually at Chipotlé with students), you can expect him to be playing guitar or re-watching his favorite sci-fi movies.
