DISCIPLING OUR MIDDLE SCHOOLERS
The middle school years are pivotal. Throughout this time, just below the surface lie the big questions: Who am I, and who do I want to be? What really matters? Is there more to Christ than the story book Jesus? What does faith in Christ have to do with my real life, anyway? Through our Middle School Ministry, we want to help our students know, trust, and delight in Christ. Jesus isn’t only the theoretical answer to the big life questions. He’s a real Savior for real sinners and sufferers, worthy of our deepest trust and our highest joy.
Youth Group
Our goal in youth group is to provide a fun, safe, gospel centered community where students can let their guard down and worship the Lord through games, songs, and study. We hope that our students find this to be a great space to invite their friends to also rejoice in Jesus. From September to May, youth group meets on Sunday nights from 6:00-8:00 pm. Youth group is off for Christmas break and will resume on January 15 from 6-8pm at NPC.
Bible Study
God's Word is food for our souls (Matthew 4:4), the light by which we see (Psalm 119:105), a sword that pierces our hearts (Hebrews 4:12). It is our very life (Deuteronomy 32:47). That's why we study the Bible. From September to May, Bible study meets Wednesday evenings. Winter/spring study begins on January 18 from 7-8pm. No dinner will be served.
Sunday Mornings
Sunday morning worship is the beating heart of the Christian life. That's why our students join in our corporate worship.
While discipleship classes are in session, middle schoolers are invited to come to the middle school room between the first and second services for a time of teaching and fellowship. Discipleship Classes resume on January 15 from 9:50 to 10:30 am.
