DISCIPLING OUR MIDDLE SCHOOLERS

Middle school is a time of growth. Heights shoot up, minds sharpen, and hearts take shape. Growth is exciting, hard, and scary. There’s no growth without growing pains.

There are some things you outgrow, and there are some things you grow into. The point of middle school ministry is to help Jesus become bigger and bigger in the lives of our students. New challenges and opportunities aren’t a reason to leave Jesus behind; they’re a reason to rely on him even more.

The best way to do that is alongside other middle schoolers who are finding a deeper faith in and deeper love for Jesus, with the help of leaders who are doing the same thing. That’s the goal of middle school ministry: seeing Jesus as more real and more irresistible every day.

WEEKLY RHYTHMS

For updated dates, please view our events calendar or subscribe to receive MSM emails

Youth Group | Sundays, 6 to 8 p.m. (September – May)

Game – Worship – Lesson – Breakout Groups. For Christian high schoolers, it’s the perfect place to find community. For those curious about Christianity, it’s the perfect place to hear about Jesus and see what Christians are really like.

 Bible Study | Wednesdays, 6 to 7:45 p.m. (Year-Round)

Wednesday nights are a time for our group to go deeper into Scripture and deeper in relationships. We eat dinner, then guys/girls split to study a Bible passage and share about their lives and what’s been on their mind.

 Discipleship Class | Sundays, 9:50 to 10:30 a.m. (September – May)

What do we believe? What do we not believe? Why, and why is it important? We meet between services to survey Christian beliefs by looking at catechisms, doctrine, and the whole story of the Bible, one bite at a time.
